Ricky Wilson has admitted he hasn't been tuning in to The Voice UK this year.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman was a coach on the show when it was on BBC One over the previous three series, but didn't follow Will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones over to ITV.
They're instead joined by new coaches Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale on what is the sixth overall series of the show.
“I’ll be honest, I’ve not watched the new series of The Voice since it moved to ITV," Ricky confessed this week. “Because I enjoyed working on the show so much, I didn’t want to make myself upset.”
Speaking to OK! magazine, Ricky continued: “I really enjoyed working with all the team and had a great time doing it, so to watch it now, I’d just feel jealous that I’m not part of it anymore.
“It’s a fantastic show and I hope it’s a success… I really miss sitting next to Tom and working with him - he’s a really love man.”
Ricky previously said he would be up for a return to The Voice UK if an offer came along.
"I enjoyed sitting next to Tom, he inspired me to make more records," Ricky told ITV's Lorraine. “He’s the biggest scrapper around, he’s always fighting to stay at the top of his game."
He added: “I’m not ruling out a return."
For now, The Voice UK 2017 continues Saturday nights on ITV.
