Reality star and 'it girl' Tara Palmer Tomkinson has tragically passed away, aged 45.
The socialite, who had received treatment in the past twelve months for a non-malignant brain tumour, was found by police in London this afternoon.
Officers from the Met said that the death was currently being treated as "unexplained" but not suspicious and her next of kin had been informed.
"Police were called by London Ambulance Service at approximately 13:40hrs on Wednesday, 8 February to an address in Bramham Gardens, SW5," a spokesperson for the police said. "The death is being treated as unexplained. At this early stage, police are not treating the death as suspicious."
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall - godparents to Tara - released a statement saying they were "deeply saddened and our thoughts are so much with the family."
Celebs have also been paying tributes.
Recent Celebrity Big Brother housemate Bianca Gascoigne took to Twitter to write: "Omg this is so so sad she was always so lovely to me condolences to her family xxx."
Tara rose to fame in the 1990s as a tabloid favourite and also became known for her TV appearances.
She previously took part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2002 and went on to host its spin-off series I'm a Celebrity... Get Me out of Here! Now for three years.
