Josie Gibson thought The Jump 2017 would be EASIER than Big Brother

Josie Gibson claims she thought extreme winter sports contest The Jump 2017 would be EASIER than her stint on Big Brother.

Josie is most famous for winning the 2010 series of Big Brother, which involves housemates having rows and playing silly tasks.

Now she's facing The Jump, one of TV's most dangerous shows - which has sent countless celebs to hospital with injuries.

But Josie thought it would be a piece of cake - thanks to TOWIE star and ex-Jump contender James 'Arg' Argent.

She told Closer magazine: "Big Brother was a walk in the park in comparison to this. I thought it would be a lot easier.

"I know it sounds horrible, but you see people like Arg and you think, 'If he can, I'll definitely be able to'."

Despite seven contestants withdrawing last year, The Jump has secured its most impressive line-up yet for its new series.

Josie reckons Olympian Louis Smith and Paralympian Kadeena Cox are her biggest competition. Meanwhile, champion cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins is apparently doing his best to "hustle" his rivals.

"He tells us all these horror stories just before we're about to do anything," Josie revealed.

Other contestants include Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthews, model Vogue Williams and rugby player Gareth Thomas.

The Jump 2017 kicks off on Channel 4 this Sunday at 7.30pm.
