Lulu has been confirmed as the second guest judge on Gary Barlow's new BBC One show Let It Shine.
Singer, television personality and actress Lulu, OBE is to join Gary Barlow, Martin Kemp and Dannii Minogue as guest judge for the second stage of Let It Shine this weekend.
Let It Shine is following the hunt for singers to star in a new musical based on the music of Take That.
Lulu said: “I have always loved working and sharing in the success story that is Take That. So the chance to bring my experience and knowledge of west end musicals, to help cast for a new show, feels a privilege and I am thrilled to do it."
Lulu will join the three permanent judges for the second stage of the competition which will see the boys perform in groups for the very first time in an all-singing and all-dancing extravaganza.
Lulu, who famously collaborated with Gary on Take That hit Relight My Fire, will give her expert opinion as she helps the judges whittle down the groups to five final bands who will go forward to compete in the live shows. The overall winners will join the cast of a brand new touring musical which will feature the music of Take That.
Musical theatre star Amber Riley appeared as a judge during the first round of the competition, the auditions, which concluded last weekend.
A number of other guest judges will appear alongside Gary, Dannii and Martin each week during the live finals in February.
For now, Let It Shine airs this Saturday night at 6:40PM on BBC One.
