Michel Roux Jr and Rachel Allen have been linked to Channel 4's revamp of The Great British Bake Off after they reportedly attended screen tests earlier this week.
The juggernaut baking competition has lost judge Mary Berry and hosts Mel and Sue following its departure from the BBC.
Since then, the rumour mill has been churning out several names as potential replacements, although many have denied involvement.
But now it seems we're getting a better idea of who could enter the Bake Off tent on Channel 4.
The Daily Mail has today published an article full of pictures of well-known chefs arriving at a house in London.
According to the newspaper, they were there for a test shoot with Paul Hollywood, the only returning member of the original team.
The biggest name in attendance was TV regular Michel Roux Jr, a former judge of Masterchef: The Professionals.
Joining him was Rachel Allen, who regularly appears on Good Food and had her own baking series in 2008.
Others present included Michelin starred-chef Frances Atkins and food writer Lady Claire Macdonald.
C4 has yet to comment on the mysterious gathering. However, the broadcaster now needs to move quickly after announcing it WILL air a full series of Bake Off later this year.
The BBC has agreed to waive a 'holdback' clause that would have blocked the eighth run from starting until 2018.
Despite this uncertainty, auditions to find a new group of amateur bakers have already taken place.
