Celebrity Big Brother housemates become superheros... but James Cosmo is NOT happy

The Celebrity Big Brother 2017 housemates have been transformed into superheros for their latest shopping task.

Despite us now being almost three weeks into the series, it's only the second shopping task this year.

So far the group have been enjoying life on a luxury budget - but can they keep it?

For the new shopping challenge, the housemates have (almost) all turned into superheroes and their sidekicks.

However James Cosmo REFUSED to dress up in his outfit.

He defiantly declared in the diary room: "I'm sure Lycra looks good some people, it certainly doesn't look good on me. That's not going to happen."

Big Brother then announced: "While James will be taking part in the task, he has refused to wear his costume.

"As this is a breach of the Big Brother rules, there must be consequences and so there will be no hot water for further notice."

The other housemates embraced the challenge, which saw the 'sidekick' housemates have to deal with the demands of the superheros.

'Defensive Duo' Jedward demanded a "jepic" breakfast brought to them in their superhero lair (aka the task room) from sidekick Nicola McLean.

However their antics quickly caused anger with some of the other housemates, with Jamie O'Hara again hitting out at the pair while in the smoking area.

Meanwhile, Kim Woodburn returned to the main house for the task after spending the night in Big Brother's spare room following THAT argument the day before.

Highlights from the Superheroes and Sidekicks shopping task will air in Thursday night's show.

Celebrity Big Brother 2017 airs nightly on Channel 5 at 9PM.
