Celebrity Big Brother 2017 nominations begin but Jedward are immune!

The first round of Celebrity Big Brother 2017 nominations have kicked off in the house this evening.

Last Tuesday Celebrity Big Brother 2017 launched asthe most famous house in Britain returned and welcomed a brand new cast of All Stars and New Stars.

14 celebrities made their debut: All Stars: Heidi & Spencer, James Jordan, Jasmine Waltz, Austin Armacost, Coleen Nolan, Nicola McLean, Calum Best and New Stars: Bianca Gascoigne, Ray J, Stacy Francis, Brandon Block, James Cosmo, Jamie O’Hara and Angie Best.

And on Friday they were joined by the fifteenth and final housemates, Jedward.

Today, Big Brother had an announcement to make.

"This is Big Brother," the voice boomed into the house, "Nominations will take place in the house today for the first time."

BB continued: "As a result of being 'edited out', Stacy, James C, Brandon, Bianca and Ray J have lost the right to nominate this week.

"All other housemates must nominate. James C is killer nominated and already faces the public vote therefore he cannot be nominated.

"New arrivals Jedward are immune from being nominated.

"Housemates, nominations re your ultimate power. Use your power wisely.

"Shortly, Big Brother will call you to the Diary Room in no particular order. You must then give the two housemates who you want to see face the public vote."

While housemates are - as always - banned from talking about nominations - it didn't stop some of the group from pushing the boundaries of the rules.

Nicola McLean quizzed Jasmine Waltz on her nominations, as she revealed: "I know one but I don't know the other, the other I'm really having to think about it."

Nicola admitted she was finding both her choices hard: "I like everyone."

The Celebrity Big Brother 2017 nominations will air in Monday night's show on Channel 5.
