Nicola McLean almost quit Celebrity Big Brother just hours before last night's live lanch.
Tueday evening was the live launch of the special All Stars v New Stars series as the housemates joined the house.
This year the line up is made up of a mix of former Celebrity Big Brother housemates and new celebs taking part for the first time.
All Stars in the house are American couple Speidi, ex Strictly pro James Jordan, model Jasmine Waltz, Austin Armacost, Loose Women regular Coleen Nolan, model Nicola McLean and Calum Best.
Meanwhile, new stars are musician Ray J, model Bianca Gascoigne, actor James Cosmo, X Factor USA finalist Stacy Francis, 90s DJ Brandon Block, footballer Jamie O'Hara and Angie Best.
Nicola previously appeared on the show in 2012 where she had quite a few teary moments.
On entering the house last night, current CBB host Emma Willis asked Nicola why she was entering the show again having complained about her previous experience.
In an awkward moment, Nicola replied by saying that former host Brian Dowling was "crap" and had treated her unfairly after her eviction in 2012.
Now it's been revealed that Nicola had actually had last minute nerves over her return and was close to backing out just before the live launch.
"Nicola completely lost her confidence and almost backed out of CBB at the last minute," a source told The Sun newspaper. “Last time she was on the show, she had an awful time with some of her housemates, and she is scared it could happen again."
In her VT, Nicola spoke about taking time out away from the public eye in order to work on her marriage and family.
The source added: “She has loved being an ‘at home mum’ and going back into the CBB house has taken every ounce of courage that she has.”
Celebrity Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
