Louisa Johnson's debut album release date is finally on its way.
Unusually for an X Factor winner, Louisa has still yet to put out her record despite appearing on the show back in 2015.
In 2016, the champ of the 12th series collaborated on 'Tears' with Clean Bandit before releasing her first solo single 'So Good'.
More recently, Louisa released new single Best Behaviour and collaborated on fellow X Factor star Olly Murs' latest song Unpredictable.
While her debut record was originally slated to ship in November last year, Louisa's album on Amazon is now showing as 'Currently unavailable'.
This week Louisa appeared on ITV's Lorraine to reveal what was going on.
She said: "I’ve been waiting to release this single since August. I’ve listened to it every single day, five times a day, and I’m not bored.
"I've said the album has been coming every single year since the show but I promise it will be this year."
She said: "I just want to make music and make people happy. You’ve got to experiment and have fun. You only live once."
Right now no official release date for Louisa's album has been set beyond 2018.
In an interview with OK! magazine last year about her upcoming and as yet untitled record, Louisa said: "I didn't want to just bring it out and give it to everyone.
"I wanted to release it in stages, singles, then build it up into an album.
"A good selling album would be great but I don't want to think to far ahead with that because my priority is making it perfect and relevant to people my age."
And she told the publication: "It's just a bit more on the sexual side and about relationships. There are some phrases that people wouldn't expect from me.
"It's definitely raunchier than people might expect but it's me and it's how I think and if you know me then you'll know it's nowhere near as far as I can go!"
