Katie Price's new reality show 'Katie' got off to a poor start on Sky Living HD last night, being watched by just 410,000 viewers. While the figure represents a great improvement for the channel, well up on the slot average of 149,000, it is also down well over 100% on the launch of Price's previous ITV2 reality series.
Katie's last series on ITV2 averaged a respectable 1,100,000 viewers during its evening Thursday slot - a 4.6% share of the telly watching audience. Last night's Sky Living HD première however was watched by just 1.7%. Perhaps embarrassingly, Katie's new show was even beaten by BBC Three documentary White Van Man, which was watched by 762,000 from 10:30PM last night!
Elsewhere and BBC Three's fly on the all series following a group of junior doctors continued to prove strong for the digital channel, interesting 1.34 million viewers from 9PM. The latest episode of CSI meanwhile topped Channel 5's night, with 2.35 million viewers in the 9PM hour.
