Diversity's Ashley Banjo set to judge ITV's 'Strictly rival' Dance, Dance, Dance

Diversity’s Ashley Banjo is reportedly in talks with ITV to join new 'Strictly rival' Dance, Dance, Dance.

"Dance, Dance, Dance" will air next Spring, according to reports, featuring an all star line up of celebs .

ITV are said to be "pumping millions" into the programme in a bid to “blow Strictly out of the water”, The Sun newspaper claimed previously.

The series, which comes from the same makers as The Voice UK, will include big productions numbers and special effects.

While Dance, Dance, Dance is being touted as a 'Strictly rival', it won't be quite the same as celebrities will lead groups of performers, including partners, friends or even parents or children.

And they won't be foxtrotting their way around a ballroom, instead recreating famous and iconic dance routines from movies or music videos.

But like Strictly there will be a panel of judges and Diversity star and former Got To Dance panellist Ashley Banjo has been tipped to join the new show.

"Ashley will make a fantastic judge because he knows dancing and is also cool," an insider told The Sun newspaper this week. “The show’s reputation has suffered from people constantly comparing it to Strictly and producers want to distance themselves from that.

“Ashley will bring a new young audience in – mainly the millions that have seen him on Britain’s Got Talent.”
