Sam Reece, the ex-boyfriend of Celebrity Big Brother's Stephanie Davis, is reportedly being targeted by MTV bosses for the new series of Ex On The Beach.
Sam found himself in the news in January when Stephanie began a romance with Jeremy McConnell in the CBB house, despite already being in a relationship on the outside world.
Viewers speculated that the affair was an Ex On The Beach storyline waiting to happen, and it seems their prediction is set to come true - as according to the Daily Star, producers have asked Sam to sign up for a new 'all-stars' series in the hope that he'll cause some major fireworks.
"MTV have really pulled out all the stops to make this series a hit – it is going to be explosive," a source told the newspaper.
"Signing Sam would be a ratings hit, he hasn't even been on a TV show this year but his name has dominated headlines due to Steph's actions. Who knows, maybe she will join him too."
As its name suggests, the reality show follows a group of sexy singles as they head to a tropical destination looking for love. However, the heat is turned up when their ex-partners gatecrash the party.
If MTV can't convince Stephanie to take part, then they have other options, as Sam has also been linked to Geordie Shore star Scotty T's former flame Ashleigh Defty, and The Only Way Is Essex's George Harrison.
"George entered talks to join the new series but she isn't sure – her fling with Sam didn't exactly end in the best way," the mole added.
Sam has done reality TV before, appearing on Channel 4's rather more tame First Dates last year, before he begun dating Steph.
Steph and Jeremy have remained an item since leaving Celebrity Big Brother, but they've broken up and got back together so many times that we've given up keeping track.
