Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner has spoken out in praise of contestant Chloe Madeley's performance on the show last Sunday. Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he went as far as to label Madeley as a potential 'front-runner' this series.
Praising her complicated opening routine on the show, notoriously critical judge Gardiner revealed: "Chloe did a lot of technically advanced moves that impressed me. Her biggest obstacle is her confidence, but if she continues to perform like that, she may be a front runner."
Television presenter and model Madeley was one of the bookies favourites to leave the show on Sunday, however her routine surprised many, including judge Jason Gardiner, scoring a respectable 16 points from the judges. Madeley and skating partner Michael Zenezini sailed through the public vote to continue in the competition.
Gardiner went on to praise contestants Sam Attwater and Jennifer Metcalfe in the interview, commending Metcalfe as "potentially the entire package", whilst acknowleding Attwater as the strongest skater in the competition.
Dancing On Ice 2011 returns next Sunday at 6:10PM on ITV1.
