Gillian McKeith revealed to show bosses last night how she had snuck banned goods into the I'm A Celebrity jungle in her kickers. Confessing up to show bosses in the Bush Telegraph, Gillian produced no fewer than five pouches of Japanese miso soup powder, eight stock cubes and bags of cumin, celery and garlic.
Gillian told the bosses: "I smuggled it all in my knickers. I have a small bottom and I just grew it a bit when I came in here. I had special pockets in my Marks & Spencer knickers.
"They are special knickers with secret pockets that I made myself with the purpose of smuggling seasoning in."
Show bosses were tipped off to Gillian's haul when Stacey Solomon asked her for some "special stuff" to go in her lunch. A source revealed: "The amount of stuff Gillian had smuggled in was gobsmacking. It was definitely the largest haul we have ever taken off a contestant in the ten years we have been doing the show."
After being caught, proud Gillian beamed: "I feel very proud that I smuggled it all in. Do you think I was going to come in here without any flavour? You must be mad!
"What are you going to do, throw me to the lions? I feel like a naughty schoolgirl."
I'm A Celebrity continues tonight on ITV1 at 8PM.
