Shaun Ryder was far from amused last night when former Big Brother housemate and This Morning presenter Alison Hammond became the 13th celebrity to enter the camp. Complainining in the Bush Telegraph, Ryder said he was close to "f***ing off".
Shaun moaned last night: "Oh more f**king people in the camp. And a loud person and a cheery person as well.
"She's probably a really nice person, don't get me wrong. I like Alison.
"I like horse s**t in the country but I don't want it in my living room. I just don't want to go through it. I've done f**k all for eight days except socialise. I'm about that far from f**king off."
Shaun's campmates had very different reactions to his outburst. Nigel sympathised with him, explaining: "Shaun was a bit put-out because you know Shaun, he takes a bit of time to get to know people and he thought that was the ultimate limit. 13 he thought was just too much to handle."
Jenny Eclair was less sympathetic, saying: "Miserable old sod. He's gone into Mancunian grumpy mode. Well, we can all do that."
Shaun later told Alison: "Alison, if I do bail it's absolutely nothing personal. It's just that there are too many people."
