Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly has revealed she is backing Ann Widdecombe on this year's series of the programme. Talking in this week's She magazine, Tess confesses her love of Ann - telling readers "You've just to love her!" Tess' comments come as bookies shorten Ann's odds as her support grows.
Daly told the glossy weekly: "You've got to love Ann Widdecombe. I adore her. There's no mess, no nonsense, and she really does want to learn how to dance.
She added: "She's a strong woman and I love her to pieces. She's actually very much my sort of woman."
Following revelations about her other half's sexy texts to other women, Tess also revealed her marriage was back on track.
"He knows exactly what he did and knows it's not OK," she told She. "There are things you can't do within a marriage. He is well aware now of the framework and has grown from that."
Tess added: "I have drawn a line. You have to draw a line and stick to it. We are in a good place now and that's what counts.
"If you keep talking about it, keep going over it, keep going back, then that's what causes problems. I made a decision to stop talking about it, stop thinking about it, and stop keeping it going. If you don't, how can you ever move on?"
