ITV are proving when it comes to reality telly they're trying everything to see what works.

After the surprise success of Splash! last (and this year's less surprisingly comedown for the show), the channel is looking at other ideas that involve celebrities.

Their latest plan involves getting famous faces teaching members of the public to drive.

With a working title of Driving With The Stars, motorists who have struggled to pass their driving test will get some first hand advice, tips and lessons from celebrities.

The show - set to air in the summer - could include the likes of former Corrie actress Julie Hesmondhalgh, TOWIE's Joey Essex and Amy Childs and recent Celebrity Big Brother winner Jim Davidson.

A source said: “It’s a definite goer. Imagine seeing Joey Essex trying to explain to someone how to do a U-turn, or Amy Childs giving a masterclass on the three-point turn — it could be comedy gold.”
