Coach Trip renewed for ninth series on Channel Four

Coach Trip fans will be pleased to know that Brendan Sheerin is back and he's bringing the bus with him! Channel Four have renewed the cult reality series for a ninth series after its' hiatus since 2012.

The daytime reality series sees tour guide Brendan Sheerin take a group of travellers on an action-packed tour of the world, taking them on a number of excursions as they travel countries such as France, Spain and Switzerland. However, in a twist the couples are able to vote each other off, causing plenty of friction and drama.

Speaking about the show being recommissioned, Sheerin described it as ''absolutely fabulous'' adding: ''"It's the answer to lots of people's prayers. I'm ready to ride the coach again''.

Coach Trip originally aired on Channel 4 between 2005 and 2006 before it returned in 2009 and became a surprise ratings hit. Brendan returned to our screens earlier in the summer in a new series Brendan's Magical Mystery Tour which failed to score the same success as the aforementioned series.
