East 17, S Club, All Saints and A1 are all being tipped to take part in series two of The Big Reunion.
They could be joined by Big Brovaz and Eternal on the line up of bands who could be brought back together for the ITV2 show.
This year's first series saw Five, 911, Atomic Kitten and Blue all star, with the show becoming a big hit for the channel attracting over a million viewers.
And the show proved worthwhile for the bands too, with a huge arena tour set for this month and a second leg planned for Christmas.
While no bands have yet been confirmed for the second series, producers are said to already be in talks with some of the names on their 'wishlist'.
A source said: “The first series did so well, it was always a no-brainer to give it a second run.
“We are still in the process of approaching bands, but we are confident of getting brilliant names on board.Names should be confirmed within the next two weeks.”
According to The Sun newspaper, as well as a second series next year, this year will also see a 'follow up' show from the first set of reunions.
The fly on the wall programme will follow the bands backstage on their arena tour, which starts in Sheffield on Friday.
The source added: “The follow-up will give viewers a chance to see the first series’ acts again and fill the gap between now and series two.”
