Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has opened up on the groups split for the first time.
In an interview with Daybreak on ITV last Friday, Cheryl confirmed that the group would not be performing together again any time in the near future.
But Cheryl refused to comments on the end of the group, not even mentioning that tweet from Nadine Coyle after the group's final tour date last month.
Nadine had tweeted: "You should know by now I had no part in any of this split business. I couldn’t stop them. I had the best time & want to keep going"
Cheryl said: "I cherished the last tour because it was special. Only the five of us know how it was like to be in that group.
"Let's end it on a high and be remembered for the incredible pop music we did together."
Meanwhile, Cheryl dismissed rumours of a comeback on The X Factor - either in the US or the UK - and instead revealed she had no plans whatsoever for the future.
Asked what was next for her, Cheryl replied: "Who knows? It's exciting that I don't have any plans for once."
But whatever Cheryl's future career involves, music will remain key, with the Geordie beauty adding: "I'm ready to move on, but music's my passion, it's my first love."
