Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle 'row over Girls Aloud split'

Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle clashed over Girls Aloud's abrupt split last week, it's been claimed.

The group surprised by fans by calling it a day in a message sent on Twitter after their latest concert gig.

The girls had just completed a reunion tour and left fans devastated with the news, having promised more albums and tours.

Nadine took to Twitter after the announcement to claim she wanted to continue with the group, and Kimberley Walsh agreed.

But Cheryl, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding wanted to end it after ten years together.

“It was really dramatic and there were a lot of tears. Nadine and Cheryl were both fighting their corner and nobody was prepared to budge," a source told the Daily Star newspaper today. “Nadine was bitching behind Cheryl’s back saying she was trying to control everything and ruining their futures in the music business."

A supposed source claimed that there was tension between the group during their month long tour which concluded in Liverpool last Wednesday.

They explained: “She was also complaining that she didn’t get paid enough for the tour and should have got at least double the money for doing all the lead vocals night after night.

“But Cheryl thinks it’s nonsense. They only ever agreed to get back together for an anniversary tour and then leave it at that."

The bitchy insider added: “She thinks Nadine is just thinking of herself because her solo career failed.”
