Girls Aloud's 2013 reunion tour sold out within minutes when tickets went on general sale today.
Demand for the group has far outstripped Cheryl Cole's own solo arena tour, which was reportedly struggling to shift tickets last month.
The demand bodes well for the group, who will be releasing their new album and single next month.
Edward Parkinson, a spokesman for viagogo, said: "Girls Aloud are no longer just the sound of the underground but the sound of a generation of pop lovers."
He added: "The last time they toured we saw unrivalled ticket demand for a girl band, and this week we have already seen more that more than double as anticipation builds."
The group have since added extra dates to their tour in London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Newcastle.
Tickets for Girls Aloud's TEN arena tour are sale now via TicketMaster and LiveNation.
