Girls Aloud: Kimberley Walsh denies group will split after new tour

Kimberley Walsh (Strictly Come Dancing)

Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh has denied claims that the group will split after their new tour.

The group announced last week a comeback greatest hits album and arena tour, with tickets going on sale Friday.

Cheryl Cole had claimed that the performances would be the last for the group in the final chapter of her autobiography.

"We’ll be working on a tour and greatest hits album. Then I think that’s it for Girls Aloud," she wrote in her book My Story, out now. "We’ve achieved more than any of us ever dared to dream of."

Fortunately for us GA fans, bandmate Kimberley has insisted Cheryl was talking rubbish.

"Cheryl wrote the book a long time ago. She obviously wrote it before any of the music, before we had anything in place," the Strictly Come Dancing star told Radio One.

Tickets for Girls Aloud's TEN arena tour go on sale from 9AM on Friday, October 26.
