Girls Aloud film music video for their comeback single!

Girls Aloud are preparing their comeback single, and have already recorded a music video for the track.

The girl group, formed on Popstars: The Rivals back in 2002, went on a year's break back in 2009. *cough*.

That year, which has felt a bit like three to us, is now over, and the girls are set to reunite in time for Christmas.

“The girls recorded tracks with their long-time collaborators Xenomania as early as May this year," a source said today.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the supposed insider claimed: “Some of them recorded their vocals separately, so they didn’t actually see each other that much during the process.

“Obviously, Nadine has been pretty estranged from the group during their time off, too.

“But on Tuesday, all five were together to film the video for their big return song, which is due out next month.

“It was the last possible opportunity they would all have to get together in time for the release, as Cheryl has been busy rehearsing for her tour and Kimberley’s training schedule for Strictly has been getting more and more intense.”

There have been rumours that the girls will be performing on this year's Royal Variety Show, which will air in December.
