The X Factor 2011 ratings rebounded healthily last night, as a peak audience of more than 13 million tune din to watch the first elimination of the series. 13.5 million viewers watched as the judges sent home Nu Vibe after they and Frankie Cocozza found themselves in the bottom two.
It's a stark contrast to the less than 10 million viewers that tuned into Saturday's performance show, although another 1 million viewers caught the afternoon repeat of the show yesterday.
The whole show, which saw performances from Katy Perry and The Wanted, averaged a healthy audience of 11.6 million viewers between 8 and 9PM last night.
