Here’s a recap of all the latest UK TV ratings from last night’s telly (Friday, June 15).

Love Island continued with 2.3 million viewers as a couple were booted from the Island.

Unknown to the Islanders, Charlie & Hayley and Alex & Samira were put up for the public vote the previous evening after each of the couples nominated in private.

In Friday evening’s show, host Caroline Flack appeared in the villa to reveal the twist – and the results of the public vote.

With the most votes from viewers to stay in the villa, Alex and Samira were saved meaning it was Charlie and Hayley who left in the Love Island results.

The 2.3 million figure was up slightly on last Friday’s equivalent number, as the ITV2 series continues with record numbers.

In the latest World Cup ratings, Egypt v Uruguay attracted 2.1 million viewers on BBC One in the afternoon while 7.4 million tuned in for the thrilling face off between Portugal and Spain.

On ITV, Morocco v Iran interested 2.7 million viewers.

In the soaps, EastEnders was watched by 4.2 million viewers in a late slot at 9:10PM following the football. 2.2 million stuck around for Tracey Breaks the News.

The Graham Norton Show had 2.7 million viewers in its late night slot.

On ITV, Emmerdale and Coronation Street both aired hour long specials against the football, with 4.7 and 5.3 million viewers tuning respectively.

After, 1.6 million caught the latest episode of Lethal Weapon at 9PM.
