Over 4 million viewers watched The Real Full Monty live on ITV last night.
Alexander Armstrong and Ashley Banjo returned for the new special, which made its debut last year. The show, raising awareness of men's cancers, saw dance supremo Ashley marshal a band of famous celebrity novices through their moves, whipping them into shape to perform a frenzy-inducing striptease.
For 2018, the brand new cast of male celebrities included TV Presenter Jeff Brazier, Former Rugby International Ugo Monye, TOWIE star James Argent and The Wanted’s Tom Parker.
They were joined by Ex-footballer John Hartson, Celebrity Chef Ainsley Harriot, and former Eastender Johnny Partridge.
The group got their kit off to an average audience of 4.2 million viewers between 9PM and 10:30PM on ITV last night (Wednesday, March 28).
For 2018, there will also be a women's special airing tonight (Thursday, March 29) at 9PM.
Celebs featured in the 'Ladies' night' special include The Only Way Is Essex star Megan McKenna, Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton and former Xtra Factor presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford.
The Real Full Monty bettered BBC One in the 9PM hour, with MasterChef down 300,000 viewers week-on-week to 4 million. Earlier, DIY SOS interested 3.7 million.
It was the soaps that topped the night's ratings: Coronation Street put in a strong 7 million viewers for its first episode of the night while 6.4 million returned for the second instalment.
6 million watched Emmerdale while elsewhere on ITV, Anne Hegerty's game show Britain's Brightest Family continued with 3.4 million, up slightly on last Wednesday night.
