Gogglebox had more than 3.5 million viewers for Channel 4 last night (Friday, March 2).
A whopping average audience of 3.6 million tuned in for the second episode of the new series, placing Channel 4 above BBC One AND ITV in the 9PM slot.
The Beeb had 1.9 million viewers for drama Requiem while Lethal Weapon continued with 2.6 million.
Also at 9PM, Survival Of The Fittest finished its first ever series with 600,000 viewers, close to exactly what it began with. ITV2 have yet to confirm if the show will be back for a second series.
Earlier, MasterChef continued with 3.6 million viewers on BBC One while EastEnders had 5.9 million.
The snowy weather continued to boost the regional news programmes, with the BBC evening news averaging 8 million - the biggest audience of the day.
Across on ITV, Emmerdale had 6.8 million while Coronation Street interested 7.3 million and 7 million for its two instalments. Between the pair, Love Your Garden had 3.4 million.
Earlier, The Chase averaged 4.4 million, matching its record high originally set in January and also achieved the day before.
Elsewhere, Cruising with Jane McDonald had just under 2 million viewers on Channel 5.
