Series 2 of Marcella continued with just under 3 million viewers on ITV last night.
Written by Hans Rosenfeld and starring Anna Friel, Marcella returned to ITV last week for a brand new eight-part series.

Marcella clashed with new BBC Two drama Collateral which continued with its third episode.
Set over the course of four days, four-part series Collateral explores the spiralling repercussions surrounding the fatal shooting of a pizza delivery man. The opening episode averaged 3.2 million last Monday before dropping to 2.5 million last week, a figure it matched last night.
It was the soaps that topped the night, with Coronation Street averaging 7.4 million and 6.5 million for its two episodes. Emmerdale had 6.5 million.
