The BRIT Awards were watched by fewer than 5 million viewers last night.
An average audience of 4.5 million tuned in to the latest ceremony, hosted by Jack Whitehall on ITV.
The numbers were down 1 million on last year the least watched show for the past 15 years.
Earlier in the evening on ITV, Coronation Street topped the night with 6.9 million viewers while Emmerdale had 6.2 million.
Over on BBC One, EastEnders averaged 4.6 million against the BRITs. Docs Panorama and Earth’s Natural Wonders did 2.1 million and 2.8 million respectively.
In the digital channel reality battle, Celebs Go Dating once again enjoyed a slight lead over ITV2’s Survival Of The Fittest.
Celebs Go Dating had just over 400,000 viewers to Survival Of The Fittest’s 350,000.
