Latest UK TV viewing figures and ratings

Here are the latest UK TV ratings from last night’s (February 20) telly.

Shetland continued on BBC One with its fourth series with an average of 4.2 million viewers, down 100,000 on last week’s opener.


Shetland topped the 9PM slot, with ITV’s Benidorm documentary Benidorm: Ten Years on Holiday scoring 2.4 million viewers. Benidorm’s tenth series begins next Wednesday night on ITV.

In the soaps, Eastenders averaged 5.6 million for its latest episode while Emmerdale had 6.4 million.

Holby City had 4 million viewers tuning in while Jason Manford’s new game show What Would Your Kid Do? had continued with 2.8 million viewers.

Elsewhere, ITV’s Survival of the Fittest continued with 400,000 viewers, up a smidgen on last week’s equivalent episode.

It lost out to Celebs Go Dating which averaged over 600,000 for its latest episode on E4.


That’s Celebs Go Dating’s best overnight rating to date, with the four series of the show on course to be the most watched yet.

Both shows continue at 9PM tonight.
