Here's a round up of all the latest viewing figures from yesterday's TV, Wednesday January 25.
It rebounded well from Tuesday's low of 1.2 million against the National Television Awards and was up 100,000 on last week.
However, the ongoing series remains down year-on-year and is on course to be the least watched January run to date.
Against CBB in the 9PM hour, Channel 4's new drama series Kiri continued with 2.4 million viewers last night.
The four part show stars Sarah Lancashire, Lucian Msamati and Lia Williams. Written by Jack Thorne, the drama concerns a young black girl Kiri (Felicia Mukasa), due to be adopted by a white foster family, who is abducted - and the trail of lies, blame, guilt and notoriety that follows.
The opening episode this month had averaged just over 3.2 million viewers, dropping to 2.5 million for last week's second instalment.
Opposing Kiri in the 9PM slot, ITV's Girlfriends dropped week-on-week to 3.8 million viewers, now well down on the opening episode's 5.2 million figure.
Earlier on in the evening on ITV, Coronation Street was the most watched show of the day with 7.3 million and 6.4 million for its two episodes. 6.5 million watched Emmerdale while just over 5 million tuned in for EastEnders.
3.1 million watched ITV's new prime time game show Britain's Brightest Family, fronted by Anne Hegerty aka The Governess from The Chase, which had more viewers earlier in the afternoon with 3.9 million.
Finally, in daytime, ITV's This Morning hit 1.2 million viewers fresh from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield's NTA win. This was up 300,000 viewers on the day before.
