The Apprentice 2017 was the most watched show on TV outside of the soaps last night.
The interview stages of this year's series averaged 5 million viewers on BBC One, beating ITV drama series Bancroft in the 9PM slot.
Bancroft began on Monday night with 5.5 million viewers but fell to 4.2 million for its second episode on Tuesday.
The stripped four part series continued last night with 3.9 million against The Apprentice, ahead of its final episode tonight (Thursday).
Elsewhere last night Coronation Street topped the night with its first of two episodes getting over 6.6 million viewers. Emmerdale had 6 million viewers.
In the 8PM hour, Gino D'Acampo won the battle of the food shows as his Italian Coastal Escape had 3.7 million viewers to Mary Berry's Country House Secrets with 2.9 million.
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, The Chase is continuing with strong numbers for ITV.
The latest episode had over 3.8 million viewers for its latest episode, having gone as high as 4 million earlier this week.
