The X Factor 2017 was watched by 6.4 million viewers last night.
The sixth round of auditions was level with Saturday’s show which had the exact same figure.
And it was also exactly the same as last weekend’s show which also had 6.4 million viewers.
However the episode – like much of this year’s series so far – was down on last year, where 7.2 million viewers had tuned in for the equivalent episode.
Still, The X Factor was the most watched show of the day despite a weaker lead in from Tipping Point: Lucky Stars, averaging 3.1 million viewers to the 6 million Coronation Street had last Sunday.
In the 9PM slot, Victoria rose for a third week in a row, climbing to a series high of 4.9 million viewers for its third episode.
However, BBC One’s Strike won in the 9PM slot with 5.6 million viewers as it concluded its two part mini-series, level with last week’s first episode.
Earlier on BBC One, Countryfile was the channel’s most watched show of the day with 5.8 million viewers.
