The Great British Bake Off 2015

The official Top 10 most watched shows of 2015 have been revealed.

The figures out this week take into account those who caught up on all shows over Christmas to get a full picture of the biggest programmes on TV.

Only one episode of each show is included in the Top 10 which makes for quite varied reading.

Although ITV and BBC One are the only channels to feature, the mix includes drama, soaps, reality telly, talent shows and event telly.

The Great British Bake Off tops the list with over 15 MILLION viewers while Strictly Come Dancing, Britain's Got Talent, I'm A Celebrity and The Voice UK also make the list.

EastEnders is the only soap to score a Top 10 placing while Call The Midwife beat the final series of Downton Abbey.
