The Voice UK was once again the most watched show on TV last night for its fourth episode of the new series.


The Voice UK’s second series on ITV – and seventh overall – continued with strong numbers, albeit down on recent weeks.

Olly Murs joins the show this year alongside returning coaches Sir Tom Jones, and Jennifer Hudson.

An average of 5.4 million viewers (including ITV+1) tuned in between 8PM and 9:30PM for the latest round of blind auditions on Saturday night, 400,000 down last week’s figure.

The episode, which peaked with 6.1 million viewers, also fell below 2017’s equivalent instalment where an average of 6 million had tuned in.

After The Voice, Through the Keyhole continued its new series with 3.3 million watching, down 300,000 on last Saturday.

And earlier on ITV, Take Me Out’s tenth series continued with 3.2 million, following the trend and falling 300,000 viewers on last weekend’s episode.

Over on BBC One and new series All Together Now launched with a solid 3.6 million viewers, up on the 1.9 million that Wedding Day Winners had in the same slot last weekend. Earlier, new game show And They’re Off… for Sport Relief with Ore Oduba had 2.1 million, down 500,000 week-on-week.

Casualty had 3.9 million, up 100,000 on last Saturday, while drama Hard Sun continued with 1.8 million watching, matching last week but remaining well down on the opening episode.


Pointless Celebrities was again the Beeb’s top rated show with 4.2 million viewers, the same as last Saturday.

Elsewhere, Celebrity Big Brother’s latest highlights on Channel 5 at 10PM had a million viewers.
