Britain's Got Talent judge David Hasselhooff won't be returning to the show, it has been claimed today. According to The Sun, the US actor has been blamed for this year's show falling the ratings, despite still achieving a whopping 11.6 million viewers earlier in the summer.
According to the paper, bosses felt David lacked a connection with acts and his comments were too boring.
The Hoff joined the panel alongside Michael McIntyre, with the pair joining Amanda Holden on a new look line up.
A source told the tabloid: "David was a great booking at the time. We thought he'd bring loads of laughs and warmth but it didn't work out. He was fun but had no connection with the acts.
"The panel lacked sparkle and it was reflected in the acts that went through."
And even Michael McIntyre’s future looks uncertain, with bosses winding him too nice!
The source added: "ITV want a new panel as it didn't work this year. Most acts were below par and the chemistry just wasn't there."
A spokesperson said: "It is too early to confirm the panel for the next series."
