We could be seeing X Factor boss Simon Cowell back on the show in 2311 if his bizarre plan to freeze his body when he dies works. Speaking to the US version of GQ magazine this month, the music mogul also revealed he was fed vitamins and minerals through an intravenous drip!
Apparently recommended by former X Factor judge Dannii Minogue, Simon is 'fed' every morning for 30 minutes by a woman at his home or in the office.
"Even when I'm having a viewing session with producers, she just sticks the needle in me and we carry on whatever we are doing," he explained.
"It's an incredibly warm feeling. You feel all the vitamins going through you. It's indescribable but very calming. Everyone I've recommended it to has absolutely loved it. One girl had two orgasms during the treatment."
And revealing plans to pay £120,000 for his body to be cryogenically frozen when he dies, Simon said: "It's an insurance policy. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. But if it does work, I'll be happy.
"If it's possible - and I think it will be - why not have a second crack? Does that sound crazy?
"I think it's a good idea. I have a feeling that if I don't do it, I could regret it in 300 years."
But if does work, the rich businessman - estimated to be worth around £300 million - is unlikely to have any money left when he wakes up in 300 years’ time. In the interview he revealed all his wealth is going to go to charity when he dies, suggesting it would be "ridiculous" to give it friends and family.
"Leave the whole lot to charity. You enjoy it while you've got it, then it's gone to good causes," he said. "If I was given a ton of money when I was 21, God only knows where I'd be now."
Simon judges on The X Factor USA which launches on September 21 on FOX.
