An X Factor hopeful from London has been dubbed the new Cher Lloyd after wowing at least one of the judges during auditions earlier this month. According to buzz magazine, new judge Tulisa Contostavlos was over the moon with 16-year-old Sarah.

The teenager took on two huge songs in the form of Beyonce’s Listen and Adele's Turning Tables during her try out in July.

Performing in front of around 10,000 fans at a packed out O2 Arena however, not all the judges were convinced, with Kelly Rowland saying Sarah wasn't ready.

Tulisa however was excited by the youngster, saying she loved her "quirky character".

A modest Sarah told the judges: "If I win I'd put a red carpet outside my room so every time I walked out, I'd feel famous."

Meanwhile 19-year-old Stefen has been dubbed "the new Olly Murs" after his performance of The Lazy Song by Bruno Mars at the auditions. He also caught the eye of Kelly Rowland, who purred: "You're so cute! I could be a cougar!"

Other hopefuls who impressed at London included a French teacher who performed Whitney Houston's Million Dollar Bill.

Gary said: "I really enjoyed your audition, this is what this competition is all about, people like you!"

The scenes will air later this month when The X Factor returns to ITV1 with its brand new judging line up.
