Caroline Flack has said she sees herself as 'The X Factor therapist' whilst hosting The Xtra Factor, admitting she has often found the experience tough at times. Speaking to Fabulous magazine, Caroline added that she only found out she had the job 5 hours before auditions kicked off.
"I had the most fun ever on I'm a celebrity, I thought I'd do that job for life," Caroline said. "But I'm such a massive fan of The X Factor and to get the opportunity to work on it is incredible.
"I'm like the X Factor therapist. I thought I'd be able laugh it off, but it's tough when you get someone who is really distressed."
On getting the job, Caroline revealed she role was only confirmed five hours before auditions kicked off at Birmingham's LG Arena in June.
"There was no time to think," she says, "I got the call from my agent at 3PM and I was in Birmingham by 8PM. It certainly keeps you on your toes."
And it sounds as though Caroline may be getting a little bit tired of her co-host Olly Murs... because he keeps singing!
She said of the former X Factor runner up: "He's got no inhibitions that boy. He beat boxes all the time. And when he's not doing that he's singing. Singing his own song! Seriously. "
Spilling the beans about the Essex lad's diva antics, Caroline blabbed: "He also has his hair blow-dried for half an hour every morning. He takes longer to get ready than I do."
