X Factor bosses are reportedly annoyed with new judge Kelly Rowland after the US singer announced a US tour in the middle of the series. The three week tour in September and October will mean the acts in her category will have no contact as they prepare for the live shows
And according to the Daily Mirror, show bosses are a bit miffed.
A show source told the newspaper today: “Kelly is taking a real risk jetting off in the middle of her first series of the X Factor.
“Some of the cast and crew are worried she is not taking it seriously.”
But thanks to the wonders of technology, Kelly has vowed to be committed to her acts, with another source saying: “She plans to have regular Skype chats and phone calls while she’s on tour.”
Meanwhile an X Factor spokesman insisted the Kelly was "committed to the series and will call her acts from abroad throughout the period."
The X Factor 2011 starts next Saturday on ITV1.
