X Factor boss Simon Cowell has admitted he would've instantly said no to Lady Gaga on the show, especially if the pop star had turned up in one of her often quirky outfits. Speaking to The Sun today, the music mogul said however he's becoming more "open-minded" to less obviously talented acts.
"She would have been thrown out within 10 seconds," the 51-year-old, who now judges on The X Factor USA, admitted.
He added: "Even if she had walked in with a lobster on her head, it would've been one of the kooky auditions."
But the reality telly legend confessed he's now changed his mind (after seeing her record sales, we speculate) and would love for the show to find someone similar.
"You have to be open-minded and embrace that level of expression. You hope to God you find someone like her," he said.
