New X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has said she's been left shocked by Gary Barlow on the show, saying that the Take That front man "amazes" her. Speaking at a Radio 1 event in Ibiza, Tulisa added she's been missing Louis since auditions finished a few weeks ago!
“Gary is my biggest competition – especially when it comes to speaking his mind," Tulisa told The Mirror. "I thought I was bad, but Gary is the shocker. He is harsh. “Gary always speaks his mind, if they are s*** he will tell you.
“He just amazes me with what he comes out with. With me it’s Tulisa being Tulisa. Curbing Gary will be hard.”
Tulisa, Gary and Kelly Rowland are all new judges on the show this year, joined by the programme's only returning panellist Louis Walsh, who has been on the show since the first series.
Talking about her experience on the show since joining in June, Tulisa explained: "X Factor is unreal.
"It’s great having a few days off out here. I’ve been texting Louis non-stop. I wish he was here. We just have such a craic when we’re hanging out.”
And the 23-year-old beauty insisted she was under "no pressure" to be like Cheryl Cole after replacing her on the panel.
“I’m just doing Tulisa, there’s no pressure to be like Cheryl. She was brilliant as a judge and I’m just doing me. I’m not trying to change," she said.
The X Factor starts soon on ITV1.
