Tulisa Contostavlos hasn't even been on TV yet as part of The X Factor, but the new judge is already putting her fame to good use by blagging free stuff by plugging brands in interviews. The 23-year-old managed to squeeze eight brands of clothing, make-up and food into a recent interview!
Asked whether she preferred designer or high-street fashion in an interview on the official X Factor website, Tulisa went on to name designer brands Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen, before also giving River Island and Lipsy a quick plug too.
Nando’s chicken and Red Bull were also mentioned in the chat, while Tulisa wanted to make it clear it wasn't just any shoe she chucked at bandmate Dappy! “I threw an Ugg boot on Dappy’s head," she said.
A source told The Mirror: “She’s not breaking any laws, but she may be breaking some kind of record for plugs. I hope she’s getting something out of it because it sounds ridiculous dropping brands every other sentence.”
However another source close to the singer insisted: “She wasn’t trying to blag anything and was just answering the questions.”
It's not the first time we've seen Tulisa put her new found fame to good use. The cheeky hip hop star also tried to get out of a parking ticket when one auditionee revealed they worked for the council's traffic enforcement office!
Tulisa joins Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh on The X Factor 2011 this year.
