New X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed she wants to mentor the boys or girls category on this year's show, following two months of auditions. With bootcamp looming the N-Dubz singer seems to reckon that this year's winner doesn't lie in the groups and overs.
We can be sure she's watched the show before then!
Asked if she knew which category shed be mentoring yet, Tulisa replied: "I have absolutely no idea but I'd like it to be the Boys or Girls category."
But whichever category she does end up with come the live shows later this year, Tulisa insists there'll be no arguments between her and fellow new judge Kelly Rowland.
Tulisa said: "I love Kelly to bits – we’re great mates. There’s no drama there at all."
The N-Dubz star added that she's been annoyed by recent rumours in the press suggesting she couldn’t stop swearing throughout her audition.
"[I read] that I swore and cussed throughout my first X Factor interview – as if!" Tulisa hit back.
Meanwhile the feisty hip hop singer admitted living up to her temperamental reputation, saying she once threw a shoe at N-Dubz bandmate Dappy!
"I once threw an Ugg boot at Dappy’s head after he randomly changed the set-list during a live performance without telling anyone – I was furious!" she explained.
Lets hope the other judges heed the warning!
The X Factor 2011 starts on August 20 on ITV1.
