Louis Walsh has revealed he and new X Factor judges Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos have already bonded more than former panelists Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Simon Cowell ever did, describing the show's new panel as closer than ever... although Louis doesn't think it'll last for long!
"We're all getting on amazingly, better than in he last series," he told Closer magazine this week.
"I think this time around we have four people who are so into their music that there's a mutual respect. Everyone is bringing something to the table and it's the real deal."
However the veteran X Factor judge, who has been on the show since the first series in 2004, added he didn't expect the peace and calm to last for much longer.
Louis said; "I honestly think the friendships will go out of the window as soon as bootcamp starts!
"At the minute we're working together - but soon we'll be in competition and that's when all the pleasantries end!"
However Louis also admitted he missed the "drama" former judge Cheryl Cole brought to the series since joining back in 2008.
“I miss her drama," he said. "There was always some drama around when Cheryl was at the show – and I mean that in the nicest way! There’d be something happening to her puppy or some kind of wardrobe thing going on.
“We text and keep in touch. She’s a little sweetheart, people have no idea.”
The new look X Factor panel debuts on August 20.
