Louis Walsh has said he can definitely see new X Factor 2011 judges Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos clashing when the live shows start later this year. Louis added that the pair, who are already said to be in a bitter fashion war, were just what The X Factor needed.
Louis commented: "Kelly and Tulisa have had disagreements on camera over the acts. It's brilliant because they aren't being fake and pretending to agree about everything and being all nicey nicey, it's so refreshing."
He continued: "I can definitely see them clashing big time when the live shows start. They're both very determined and strong in their views, which is exactly what The X Factor needed."
X Factor boss Simon Cowell however previously said it was the fireworks between Louis and Tulisa he was most looking forward to watching!
Speaking about the new panel, Cowell said: "These four are totally up for it, each of them bring a different attitude. They have had a ton of hits between them and they are all committed to finding a star.
“I have a feeling Louis and Tulisa will have slightly different points of view as to what the next star should look and sound like.”
Meanwhile Louis added to Closer magazine this week that he felt Gary Barlow's no nonsense attitude towards the auditionees would surprise viewers.
"Gary's going to surprise so many people with how little nonsense he takes," Louis said. "You have to remember, this guy started singing in bingo halls and made it to be one of the biggest popstars on the planet, so he knows all about hard work. He can't be bluffed or fooled by anyone."
The X Factor 2011 starts on August 20. You can read Louis Walsh's full interview in Closer magazine, out now.
