Dannii Minogue is reportedly having a confidence crisis after being dropped from The X Factor and dumped by high-street store M&S. The Aussie popstar, who left the reality show earlier this year, is apparently worried about her career following a period of bad luck.
Dannii was forced to quit the show before auditions started after dates moved to fit in with new judge Gary Barlow's schedule meant Dannii faced clashes with Australia's Got Talent down under.
Speaking previously, Dannii told a pal she probably made a "huge mistake" when choosing to leave the show.
"Taking that decision was the hardest decision of my professional career but they left me no choice," the singer told the friend. “I know it’s probably a huge mistake and, believe me, everybody I work with has been trying to talk me around."
Sources close to the former X Factor judge told Closer this week that Dannii was now suffering a lack of confidence after leaving the show result in her losing deals and other work in the UK
"Dannii's always been uber-confident and in control - now she says she can't take any more bad luck," the source said.
They continued: "She's devastated at the prospect of losing the M&S deal, and got a bit emotional when she heard the news. It feels like another blow, on top of the hurt she felt leaving The X Factor."
And Dannii was said to be further upset when partner Kris was offered to take part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here following rumours about a break down in the couple's relationship.
"They think Kris would be great eye candy," the insider said, "He's not sure he'll do it, but Dannii doesn't want their personal life aired on TV, and wants him at home with Ethan"
Dannii is rumoured to be joining rival reality show The Voice on BBC One next year.
