Gary Barlow's mood swings on the set of The X Factor have been blamed on arguments with Take That bandmate Robbie Williams. Band insiders have suggested that the pair are 'at war' with one another over the group's current tour, which has seen them play to millions across Europe over the past month.
Gary, who joined The X Factor earlier this year alongside Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos, is apparently not even speaking to his fellow Take That star.
"The atmosphere on tour is tense," an insider said. "Mark [Owen]'s trying to keep the peace but Gary and Robbie are barely communicating on stage, let alone off it. It's getting really awkward."
The source continued: "Gary hats the fact the tour has turned into 'The Robbie Williams Show' as he calls it."
And the new reality telly judge is said to be annoyed and frustrated at Robbie's plans for his own tour next summer.
"Gary can't believe he's talking about his own solo tour while he's still on the road with Take That. He's offended that Rob's already talking about jumping ship again," the source said.
The rows between the group have also reportedly taken their toll on Gary's new job on The X Factor. Speaking to Star magazine this week, the insider added: "Gary's been exhausted and quite moody on set. Bosses can't wait for the tour to end so Gary can give the show his full attention."
The news comes just weeks after we reported how Gary's tough schedule may lead him to quit The X Factor already.
