Louis Walsh has revealed he is missing one of last year's X Factor judges more than the others - Cheryl Cole! Talking to Closer magazine this week, Louis explained how he missed the drama that Cheryl brought to the show over the past few days - but in a nice way!
Louis is the only remaining panellist on this year's series, with Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow all joining the reality series to replace Cheryl, Dannii Minouge and X Factor boss Simon.
Despite previously saying he was closest to Dannii, Louis this week said it was actually Cheryl that the show was missing the most.
He said “I miss her drama. There was always some drama around when Cheryl was at the show – and I mean that in the nicest way! There’d be something happening to her puppy or some kind of wardrobe thing going on.
"We text and keep in touch. She’s a little sweetheart, people have no idea.”
And the Irish music mogul said Cheryl and Simon would definitely return to being friends after The X Factor USA axe.
Speaking following reports the pair hadn't talked since Cheryl was given the boot from the American version of the show back in May, Louis said: “I’d be amazed if they don’t make it up, They were really close and the best of friends.
"I think Simon will make it his mission to become mates again. I actually think Cheryl didn’t really want the show. Her heart wasn’t in it and she never felt comfortable there, in my opinion. She did the right thing coming home. She’s happy now, so that’s what’s important."
The X Factor 2011 returns next month to ITV1.
